Conditions of participation
Participation in the competition run by Die Stadtgärtner, hereinafter referred to as the operator or organizer, is free of charge and is governed exclusively by these terms and conditions.
How the competition works
The competition runs from 7:00 a.m. on June 23, 2024, to 11:59 p.m. on June 26, 2024. During this period, users will have the opportunity to participate in the "Stadtgärtner Dankeschön" competition online.

To participate in the competition, you must complete and submit the displayed entry form. You must also answer the competition question correctly to be considered for the prize draw.
Only one submitted entry per participant will be accepted into the competition. Using multiple email addresses to increase your chances of winning is strictly prohibited.
Participation in the competition is free.
Eligible participants
Eligible to participate are natural persons residing in Germany, Switzerland, or Austria and at least 14 years of age. Participation is not limited to customers of the organizer and is not dependent on the purchase of a product or service or newsletter registration.
If a participant is limited in his or her legal capacity, the consent of his or her legal representative is required.
All persons involved in the conception and implementation of the competition, as well as employees of the operator and their family members, are not eligible to participate. Furthermore, the operator reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to exclude individuals from participation if there are legitimate reasons, for example:
(a) in the event of manipulation in connection with access to or conduct of the competition,
(b) in the event of breaches of these Conditions of Participation,
(c) in the event of unfair trading or
(d) in the event of false or misleading information being provided in connection with participation in the competition.
Prize, prize notification and delivery of the prize
The following prizes will be awarded:

The winners will be determined after the closing date in a random drawing among all participants. If the competition is linked to a task, only those participants who have completed the task correctly will be entered into the drawing.
The winners of the raffle will be informed of their prize promptly via a separate email.
The prize will be awarded exclusively to the winner or the legal guardian of the minor winner. Exchange, self-collection, and cash payment of the prize are not possible.
Any costs incurred for shipping the prizes will be borne by the operator. Any additional costs associated with claiming the prize are the responsibility of the winner. The winner is responsible for any taxation of the prize.
If the winner does not respond within one week of being asked to do so, the prize may be transferred to another participant.
End of the competition
The organizer expressly reserves the right to terminate the competition without prior notice and without stating reasons. This applies in particular to any reasons that would disrupt or prevent the competition from running as planned.
Data protection
To participate in the competition, you must provide personal information. Participants confirm that the personal information they provide, in particular their first name, last name, and email address, is true and correct.
The organizer points out that all personal data of the participant will not be passed on to third parties or made available to them for use without consent.
Only the operator/organizer may collect, store, and use the data for the purpose of conducting the competition. The operator will delete the personal data collected during this competition after the competition has ended.
In the event of a win, the winner agrees to the publication of their first name and place of residence in the promotional media used by the organizer. This includes the announcement of the winner on the organizer's website and social media platforms.
The participant may revoke their consent at any time. The revocation must be sent in writing to the contact details provided in the imprint section of the operator's website. Upon revocation of consent, the participant's collected and stored personal data will be deleted immediately.

Applicable law
Questions or complaints related to the competition should be directed to the operator. Contact details can be found in the imprint section of the operator's website.
The operator's competition is subject exclusively to the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Legal recourse is excluded.
Severability clause
Should any provision of these Terms and Conditions be or become invalid in whole or in part, the validity of the remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions shall remain unaffected. The invalid provision shall be replaced by the legally permissible provision that most closely approximates the economic meaning and purpose expressed in the invalid provision. The same applies if there is a gap in these Terms and Conditions.
